Checkouts are an opportunity for members with existing sailing skills to become familiar with the club room and the rigging intricacies, as well as to demonstrate their basic sailing competency.
About the event
This clinic includes Part 1 and Part 2 of the checkout. It is for experienced sailors who want to be cleared to use a new fleet; it is also a great refresher. For those who are doing their first checkout, it will include an orientation to the sailing fleet and club room.
You will also require an on-water checkout (Part 3); this is a separate registration.
Prerequisites
All checkout participants must know how to sail and preferably have experience on or an a similar boat class. We recommend you take a look at the Rigging instructions and the Vanguard Manual to have an idea of what to expect beforehand.

Registration closes 24 hours before the clinic. The clinic will be cancelled if no one has registered by that time.
Cancellations must be done at least 48 hours before the clinic, by email to membership@clublocarno.com. No-shows will result in the forfeiture of your next clinic registration.
