High Performance Sailing League Regatta

Hi sailors,

High performance sailing (with speed multiples of true wind speed) is a lot of fun.

So,

What: Club Locarno Sailing Team is invited by Compass Adventures club to participate in inaugural umpired fleet/match racing High Performance Sailing Regatta to be sailed on R18 catamarans.

This will be nice event to show and develop your sailing skills, meet other sailors and have a lot of fun on the water.

When: 6-7 July, 2019

Where: Comox, BC

Cost: Every team participant will pay 80$ for clinic/licensing program on Saturday and 60$ for regatta participation on Sunday. Fee is payable upon registration.

We need to form at least 3 teams (skipper and crew) to participate. If you raced catamaran before, please register as a skipper. If you would like to be a crew with experienced cat skipper, please, register as a crew.

Departure to this event will be on 5th of July. We expect to be back in Vancouver with the last ferry.

You will get Locarno Knots for your place in regatta. No matter what your place will be, you'll get them ;-)

We will have set-up meeting of Locarno Sailing Team for this regatta on 29th of June, Saturday in Jericho galley @1900. So, if you will have questions, you will get answers there.
