Sailing Clinic - Beach Launch/Landing Lasers

Beach launching/landing is one of the biggest challenges facing our members and our equipment! 

Join us for our Beach Launch/Landing Clinic, led by Paddy Ryan. The schedule consists of a proven sequence of activities for competency development, including:

1. chat about it,
2. do some demos, and
3. let people try it themselves a few times

Who should attend?

Any member who might ever sail on a Club Locarno craft, including:

• new members who aren't even checked out (you will be excused from the on-water portion)
• recently checked-out sailors
• veteran sailors who occasionally embarrass themselves on the beach or the ramp
• anyone who has ever trashed one of our craft by running it up on the beach or a ramp
• really, any sailor who isn't fully prepared to lead the next Beach Launch/Landing clinic
• and lastly anyone who wants to stick landings like this ;-) (jk)

In addition to developing an important competency, this will be an opportunity to meet fellow sailors, as this clinic will almost certainly end up at the Galley.
