Spring Work Party - Sailing Fleet

First work party to get our fleet ready for the summer season.

We can use at least 16 people: We will be stepping of masts, cleaning hulls, repairing and checking of rigging, foils, trampolines, and we will also put some effort into getting the hulls of our cats to a beaming shine ✨  (See here for the definitive how-to)

Who should attend:

• If you are Laser, Vanguard15, Tasar, RS500, Nacra500, Nacra570 sailors this is an excellent opportunity to show some love to your boats in anticipation of the joy they will give you during this coming 2024 season.

• For sailors-to-be, work parties are the best ways to get to know your rigging and learn tips from experienced sailors and Captains, and get them to bring you as crew on their next sail, so you can practice and improve your seamanship too.

• If you are unsure, there will be lots to do for all skill levels, plus coffee and donuts in the morning and pizza at the end.

We meet at the clubroom and Vanguard/Cat storage area. Should it be raining hard, we will postpone the work party to the following day (Sunday). An email will be sent to communicate the decision to postpone no later than 0700 that day.
