Introduction to Catamaran

The Introduction to Catamaran consist of 10 hours of instruction over  3 lessons:

• Tuesdays: 17:30 - 20:30 (3 hours)
  
• Thursdays: 17:30 - 20:30 (3 hours)
• Saturdays: 10:00-14:00 pm (4 hrs)

Prerequisites 

To take this course, you must have CANSail 2, CYA Bronze or equivalent experience.  We recommend (not mandatory) 100 hours of monohull experience and 20 hours crew on catamaran.

Attendance at a Rigging Clinic for Cats is not a prerequisite, but is strongly encouraged.

Ideally, you will review the Rigging Guides and videos from our website before attending the first class.

Upon completion, your instructor will advice on next steps... this short version of the Intro to Catamaran will give you an idea of whether you are ready to check out cats on your own.

The lesson will be cancelled if no one has registered on time.
