New Year's Day Paddle, Plunge, and Potluck

In the grand tradition of stoic water sports, ClubLocarno members are once again girding themselves to launch onto the frigid seas on the first day of the new year, while ordinary folk are still huddled in their beds nursing the aftereffects of their bacchanalian excesses.

Ring in the New Year on the water!  Come down to Jericho on New Years Day for a brisk row, paddle, sail or windsurf!  Please plan on launching at 1pm for a short row, paddle or sail, after returning to shore and de-rigging, followed by a Polar Dip for those truly hearty folx . 

We will gather in the members' lounge to re-warm by the fire and enjoy a pot-luck meal.   Bring all your holiday baking and leftovers so you can start your new year's diet on January 2 without temptation (for those that still make new years resolutions.
