Catamaran Level 2 (Spinnaker) Rigging Clinic

About the event

This clinic is spread over two sessions. On the first day we will do Part 2 of the checkout (how to rig and sail a spinnaker). On the second day we will do Part 4 of the checkout (the spinnaker on-water checkout). It is for experienced sailors who want to be cleared to use a new fleet; it is also a great refresher. Details of our checkout clinics can be found at Sailing Orientations and Checkout Clinics.

Prerequisites

All checkout participants must be checked out on and comfortable sailing the club's level 1 catamarans (Nacra 500). It is important that all participants review the online rigging instructions and videos. In particular, know how the hooks on jib and main function and how to release them.
