Nitinaht club trip - sign up for the - lottery!

In this unusual year we still want to plan a club trip to amazing Nitinaht lake, on Vancouver Island. The information for the club trip is copied below.

  This sign-up is for a chance to go on the trip.

The campsite opened up reservations in May, and all available sites were booked within 30 minutes. We organized with a number of people and managed to book 4 sites. Due to COVID restrictions each site will be limited to 2 tents maximum, with 6 people or less per site. No walk-ins or creative camping is allowed. This severely limits the number of people that can come on this trip.

The trip details:

• Trip will be or July 30 to August 2;
• You will organize your own transport - at the end is 90 minutes on a gravel logging road.
  
• We will rent a van to transport gear, or rely on members to do the transport as needed and possible. 
• We will likely ask for a per-member trip fee of $20.
  

The fairest solution we could think of is to organize a lottery for tent sites. This lottery is open to members only, level 2 and up. Sign up to this event to participate.

• It is a beautiful spot: Nitinat Lake
• This trip is awesome for intermediate to advanced L2. Nitinaht has no wind in the morning and typically high wind at the end of the day. A great opportunity to progress.
  
• The lottery is for a campsite, and it would be great if you could bring members with you, but you will have to be comfortable sharing a tent.
• This registration for the lottery closes June 29.
  
• Member couples may submit individually.
  
• You can fill your tent with non-members, but your guests will not have access to club gear.
• Sites may open up on the campsite - keep an eye on it.
  

For Level 3 members: we will look into organizing another specifically high-wind trip. Of course you want to go on this one too - but just putting that out there. Let me know if you have questions or suggestions!
