This is a classic overnighter in a beautiful area!
We will launch at Porteau Cove early on Saturday morning and paddle across to the east coast of Gambier, to camp for one night in a stunning location.
On Sunday morning we will explore the coast of Anvil Island and then return to Porteau Cove.
We will have a pre-trip meeting on Tuesday 12th evening. Please register for the trip before then.
Pre-requisites: Experience in overnight kayak trips, ability to paddle 15km per day in moderate wind (10-15kn).
Level: Level II Kayak Trip Rating System
(Please note we have limited transport available so please confirm if you are able to transport any kayaks.)
